Discharged Bankrupt Mortgage

Discharged Bankrupt MortgageDischarged Bankrupt Mortgage solutions-  In 2017 we over 10 UK Lenders who can give you a Mortgage if you have been bankrupt in the last 6 years.

APayam Azadis we approach the end of the year the prospects for getting a mortgage after bankruptcy is much brighter than 12 months ago. In fact, Niche Advice has been helping advising on Discharged Bankrupt Mortgage products for 8 years now and the options have never been this good.

Back then the rates weren’t too bad but now they are improved due to the heightened competition but the real difference is the certainty of a positive application.

How so? Well at the time the Lenders were mainly regional building societies whose appetite to lend to bankrupts often was greater towards the end of the financial year when aggressive branch targets had to be met through ‘exception’ lending. And, there was no support from the specialist lenders as many were even entrenched in mainstream lending or wiped out in the credit crunch. However as the credit availably has eased a modern day record number of specialist lenders appeared in 2016 and importantly they have actually detailed the conditions for bankruptcy mortgages in Lending policy – that’s right it’s a written manifesto to lend to those who meet their rules. This provides both clarity and surety.

The bankruptcy mortgage Lenders all have their differences but as you would expect from Niche Advice we can guide and advise on the most appropriate one for you. To give you a flavour they tend not to like credit issues since the bankruptcy, and the bankruptcy must be fully discharged. If the bankruptcy included a repossession we can still help the choice of Lenders drops sharply.
