After an absence of several months 10% deposit mortgage offering for foreign nationals on a Visa has returned.
Judging from our experience the demand for this innovation is very high.
The lender is currently limiting access to first time buyers.
The deposit can include a “gift” from immediate family members and can originate from abroad.
The standard qualification rules are:
- Open to foreign nationals who are currently on Tier 2, Family dependant or Spousal Visas only.
- Must have lived and worked in the UK for over 3 years OR 2.5 years left to run.
- Any period in the UK as a refugee or student does not count towards the minimum time limits.
- First time buyers only.
- Minimum 10% deposit.
